Are you about to buy the domain for your blog or website? STOP! There are 3 things you should do before you click ‘buy’. I own and operate multiple websites and I’ve probably purchase 30-40 domains in my career. Hi Alison, thanks for the video! The domain name I want is a premium so approx 2500$ to purchase. Does the price change if I trend it for a few days/weeks, will they know I’m watching it and increase the price? Thanks!

SEO Tools TV says:

I had a client who asked me to help with creating a technical task for designers.
Then I replied to him, what is your domain?
He answered – I haven't bought it yet.
My answer was:
Oh, man.
It doesn't work like this.
It would be best if you created your name first because it impacts your design.
He agreed and bought it.
From the correct name, it depends a lot.
I'm talking a lot about this on my channel.

Keywords can help in some cases with industry or niche identity, like ProBlogger, it connects that topic with your brand. But, it does not help with ranking, ever.
